So I think it will be the last post for this blog.
After software and hardware modifications the mushroom farm started to produce healthy mushrooms!
Just a couple of interesting notes:
- Mushroom cakes do not fruit all at once as I expected. Some mushrooms pop up, I will pick them up and in several days more mushrooms pop up, even without the rehydration of the cakes.
- I read that if mycelium is disturbed on the cake, for example scraped with a fork before putting it into the chamber, the mushrooms will grow faster. And it is true. Out of curiosity I scraped mycelium on the cakes on the left and didn’t disturb it on the cakes on the right. I put all the cakes into the chamber at the same time. The difference is noticeable.
It was fun to work on this project!
