Concern about hardware use

Question

Can you use external hardware such as another Raspberry Pi or arduino? I think it would be beneficial to use 2 Raspberry Pi's at a time.

I used two on a previous design challenge that featured the Raspberry Pi - one Pi dedicated to computer AI vision recognition to minimize latency and another Pi to run the graphics and sound. I am sure it is not a problem as long as you meet the other requirement including using at least 3 of the items in the kit.
