Teaming up?

I know someone who is willing to work with me for this project but we live in different places. If you team up how will the hardware dist. work, will both people get the kit, or will it be like one person does hands on, the other person provides advice and stuff?

Interesting, thank you for the answer. It would indeed be harder during the pandemic so it would need both sides with 2 copies of hardware and both sides making the device. Challenging.

The last time I teamed up on a Pi Challenge project, we did not get 2 starter kits, we just got one. I had an extra Pi so we duplicated the Pi and bought some duplicate "computer peripherals" which helped but the rest of project build was not duplicated.

We had to transfer the project between us a couple of times, which definitely was a challenge to our schedule and it negatively impacted the finished project.

We both got finisher prizes because we each produced the required number of blogs, so keep in mind the project will require twice as many blogs as a solo project.

Overall it was fun but harder than doing a solo project.
