Bluetooth Maze - getting some Laser Cutting done..

For the last couple of days I have been working on designing and laser cutting some MDF, which will for the base to hold the servos and Beaglebone wireless, and the top of the maze. Here are a few pictures of laser cuts and a brief description of the steps, followed to achieve this. I had originally planned to do this tomorrow, and get some python code written today to move servo's, but I was told that the maker space that I was going laser cut tomorrow will be potentially closed, as most of the folks at the maker space are soccer fans and world cup finals are tomorrow morning pacific time image, which meant I had to change my plans and get all the laser cutting done today.

To design the DXF file for laser cutting I used Autodesk's fusion 360, basically used the sketch option to draw the maze base with some pits aka holes for the marble to roll into, and  to cut the MDF to a size of 350 mm x 250mm for the top. And also added text as you see in the screenshot and the picture above. But as part of the DXF files attached below, I have removed the text so that you can add your own text when laser cutting.

After running a couple of test on the laser cutter, here are the final cuts - 1 sheet for the base to hold the servos and the electronic components. And 3 other sheets that will represent 3 levels of the game, basically level 1 is the simplest version with no holes and level 2 has a fewer holes when compared to level 3. This is done, so that if you plan to replicate this you can change between levels when playing with friends/family at home.

And here are some more pictures of laser cutting at the maker space-
