(NOTE: Even if you aren't a sponsored challenger, you can still participate in the Design Challenge as long as you follow with the Terms and Conditions, and integrate Bluetooth and one of the Hero Boards into your design.)
The deadline for application submissions is 11th April 2018.

* While the BBC micro:bit has hardware capable of allowing the device to work as a Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) device, it only has 16k of RAM. The BLE stack alone takes up 12k RAM which means there’s not enough room to run MicroPython. Future versions of the device may come with 32k RAM which would be sufficient. However, until such time it’s highly unlikely MicroPython will support BLE. BLE radio is supported in Java Blocks. We have added this board to help open design challenges to a broader audience.
Interested in joining the Challenge? You can do it as a non-sponsored Challenger! Here's how:
Even if you aren't a sponsored challenger, you can still participate in the Design Challenge as long as you follow with the Terms and Conditions, integrate Bluetooth and one of the Hero Boards into your design, and post 10 blogs about your design journey in the Bluetooth Unleashed Design Challenge space (tagging your blogs 'Bluetooth Unleashed Design Challenge') and you'll be eligible to win the awesome prizes.
Project Submission Deadline: Friday 20/07/18 11:59 PM GMT
