Fridge on AWS IoT

      • 1. Smart Fridge on AWS IoT
      • 2. Smart Fridge on AWS IoT

Smart Home includes types of applicants. Up to now, not popular as it should be. Part of the reasons lie in the incompatible of standards and protocles. The machine can not "talk to each other with same language". AWS IoT may change it.

1. Smart Fridge on AWS IoT

Fridge can be the most important invention among all home facilities, keep food fresh. This smart fridge can trace the temperature sensor and energy consumption, all data is synchronized on AWS IoT for better supervision and better control. Here is proposed I/O list for smart fridge,

Input,

  • Analogue Input of Inner temperature of Fridge,
  • Analogue Input of Outer Temperature of environment,
  • Analogue Input of Voltage of Power,
  • Analogue Input of Current Value of Power
  • Digital On/Off of Control Switch

Output,

  • Digital On/Off of Fridge,
  • Digital On/Off of LED Indicators,
  • Digital On/Off of Inner Lighting

Selected data shall be put to AWS IoT with bandwidth flow control.

2. Smart Fridge on AWS IoT

PSoCRegistered 6 WiFi-BT Prototyping Kit (CY8CPROTO-062-4343W) shall be used as key hardware. available on https://cn.element14.com/cypress-semiconductor/cy8cproto-062-4343w/wifi-bt-prototyping-kit-cortex/dp/2947560?COM=referral-cmty-noscript

PSoC 6 Wi-Fi BT prototyping kit is a low-cost hardware platform with a CY8CMOD-062-4343W daughter card,  CapSenseRegistered for touch buttons and slider, on-board debugger/programmer with KitProg3, MicroSD card interface, 512Mb Quad-SPI NOR flash, PDM microphone and a thermistor.

It also includes a Murata LBEE5KL1DX module, based on the CYW4343W combo device for wifi connection.

The CY8CPROTO-062 provides ample peripheral I/O  for IoT sensors and acutator, enough for the smart fridge project.
