Maybe e14 can use Baker Island Time for contest end dates. It would take care that everyone had the guarantee that it doesn't close before midnight their time. Where ever they are located...

So this means there's some leeway. If you contact me and tell me that your final blog is on the way of being published, that's fine too.

Randall, I am well short of where I wanted to be. So, as I'm out of the running and I don't have any more to add to the 2 blogs I've done so far, I'm going to continue working through my design to see where I get to and then provide another blog or two. The steep learning curve has been challenging but of real value.

I now at least know exactly what all these components are doing and thanks to the other challengers, I know a lot more about how the design works:

It was! Switch mode power supplies aren't easy. And flyback designs are particularly complex. Kudos to all players.
