Bead - I didn't have a means of attaching via ring-terminal. However, the ring terminal ones look particularly useful for attaching to TO-220 ICs as they are screwed to a heatsink. I've not yet found a decent way of attaching beads to TO-220 cases which won't adversely affect the reading.
I tried to make my schedule work in order to participate in the event but after this week I realize it was the best decision to sit on the sidelines and watch. Good adventures in the challenge.
