Hello
I also received the kit for this with waterproof connectors. The package arrived without damages, I think I received all the parts from the list, I'm not sure if I should have received some screws for mounting for the RJ45 jack.
I don't think it's necessary to attach more pictures, however, all the pieces I received can be seen by accessing the pictures from the drive.

Having said that, I started to analyze the enclosure, I received one with holes already made. I also placed the gasket in the channel in the cover.
I did a test by assembling the cover of the box and noticed that there is still a small gap of 1mm between the parts. I will see if this is a problem or not.
Then I assembled each plug separately, in turn. I also discovered a few things, the RJ45 plug that didn't come with mounting screws or other accessories, and it didn't fix very well, but luckily I had screws that fit quite well.
Then I have to make small changes to the enclosure to better fix the RF plug with coaxial cable. There are several vertical channels on the inside of the enclosure, and one of them is fixed next to the hole for the plug.
So I cut a little of the channel so that the plug is fixed better, now it comes as straight as possible on the surface.
I didn't wait too long and did a first waterproof test, rather "soft", I mean I didn't risk anything and I used a paper. I put this paper in the enclosure and immersed it in water. Surprise surprise, the enemy (water) made its way inside the enclosure. I don't know what the reason is, but as soon as I submerged the enclosure I noticed small bubbles. The first signs of water seepage appeared next to the RJ45 plug, then at the other plugs around. Looks like I'll have some work to do with this enclosure.

In order to be able to use this enclosure safely, I have to solve the problem. Good thing I didn't place the Panda board inside. For this board I am thinking of starting with beginner tutorials, the important thing is that there are sources of information. I have several ambient sensors like the DHTxx of course, I also have other sensors. In the end, if I see that I cannot safely use this enclosure with the Panda board, I will focus on the LattePanda and work with the sensors and other components that I have. I plan to use an Arduino platform as well, the sensors to be connected to the Arduino, and with the help of LattePanda to be able to transmit the data wirelessly. It would be an idea, but there is a long way to go.
I haven't had the opportunity to work with the kit until now, and implicitly to publish a blog, but from now on I can take care of it.
Thank you.
Next blog is coming.
