I have decided to totally rethink the croc clog, yes I am talking about the ugly shoe made out of rubber. These are cheep comfortable shoes and I find myself wearing them more and more. My first Idea was to outfit them with led lights on the front in a headlight fashion. The slits on the front of the shoe almost seem made for this! So I could control the lights with a switch (boring!), but I think it would be cooler to make them dark activated. So I thought it would be cool to use a light dependent resistor just like the streetlights. The problem is, this system would need to be run on a battery and I don't think the constant waste of energy makes sense when the lights aren't even on. Does anyone have a better lighting solution? Does anyone have any other cool mods for the shoe in general? I thought I would cut a battery pack into the rubber on the bottom of the shoe. Better Ideas?
