Does anyone have plans for a 3 phase 400 Hz low voltage generator? It is my intent to design or use an existing design as a test device for certain field equipment. I have researched a bit and discovered several testers that are very expensive. Would like to keep the cost down as my need for this tester is limited to 4 UUT's and outsourcing is expensive as well (though I am forced into that option presently, this is brand new tooling).
Here is what I am planning to develop:
Output:
24 to 50 VAC variable @ 1 to 4 Amp maximum, 400 Hertz +/- 1 Hz Sine
Voltage source:
115 VAC @ 20 Amp, 60 HZ
As you can see, voltage is not my primary concern here, it is a highly stable 400 Hz output that is important. Also need to be able to plug it into the power at my test bench. Portability would be nice as well.
