This is a late weekly update and there are many reasons for it which include some urgent work on my PhD research as well a a cold a have. Anyways progress has been kinda up and down where some modules have been completely tested and other have been modified.
The EnOceans sensors are very easy to customize and I added another simple application around one so that adds to the total module count. I have also revamped the OpenHAB casing and it looks... different I will be posting pics very soon.
I have worked out a lot of things at the OpenHAB software side and I think OpenHAB is brilliant as well. The major problem was various cases for the different modules that I made, but I have also found a work around to that problem- actually multiple solutions.
Mark Beckett Sir has also been very helpful with his suggestions and so many thanks to him.
Progress on the RPi rover is slow but I will get there. I have removed a module from the list which was the fabrication of the clothes line. The roof of our house was severely damaged and had to be repaired. This cost a lot of money and I no longer have the funds for anything.
More bad news on the PCBs which are being delayed due to X Y Z reasons and I am partly to blame cause I think I delayed sending em out to the FAB a little more than I should have. This has caused me to move to hand made prototypes. If the PCBs arrive in time, I will move to them but I have a little much on my plate...
If I recover from this cold, I just might pull this off. The modules that have been completed are running 24x7 in my house and I think it's going to stay. I will post more updates when I find the energy for it.
Thanks,
