This is a video demonstration of my medication reminder system. Tried to keep it short.

The delay on the speaker is only after startup. For some reason, after that it works fine. It must have to do with initializing the say() command in openHAB.

Good demo, but I worry about the time delay.

You might want to add an outdoor speaker that can remind you after you have left the house with a big sound.
Once I leave, I am quick to get into the car and leave, so even a 20-30 second delay would find me already in the car.

Thanks. I only got my setup this weekend. I should be ashamed, but I don't have any basic tools until my first order gets here
