This is it! My final post This is were you get to see my ColorCam and this nifty video I made.

First of all I would like to take the opportunity to thank Element14 and Adafruit for selecting me for this challenge. It was one bumpy, but instructive ride!

Also a big warm thanks for my boyfriend Victor Sluiter, who has helped me so much along the way. I can honestly say I wouldn't have been able to do this without him! So, thanks honey!

So here is my video, I hope you all like it!

Wow, the camera looks great.  The fusion of soft, plush things and interactive electronics seems like it would be great kids.  Very, very cute.

This came out so cute and useable.  I really think you ought to approach Fisher-Price or Ikea (hey, Ikea could use some tech gadgets!).  Also, I'm a video person first and foremost, and your flick gets a…

    Hi Linda,

Well done.  The finished camera looks very nice and it looked like your son was greatly enjoying testing it out.

    Hi Linda,

    You are very welcome.

These competitions let me learn and help mentor new engineers/makers.  That interaction is the one thing I miss most about being disabled/retired.

In all of my jobs I have always tried to help everyone bring out their talents, even when they did not know they could.

Seeing someone reach that "Aha" moment on a project is priceless and I greatly enjoy sharing that moment.

So thank all of you for being able to do what I no longer can and sharing your experiences so that someone like me can continue to provide guidance and enjoy your growth.

I will be supporting these types of contests as long as I can and I really appreciate Element 14 for putting them together so that we can see the creativity that all of you have.

DAB, I feel that I should be the one thanking you for sharing.. You've been a consistent reader and you've been commenting and giving advice to all of us.There haven't been many comments on blogposts in this competition. And knowing that someone is reading and helping out with ideas or fun spirit uplifting anecdotes really helps!

    So, thank you DAB!
