After a week Ellison, Rowan and I have just about finished moving in to our new place in Minneapolis. The weather is amazing and the people as nice as advertised. The FLORA package arrived while Rowan and I were working on building ikea furniture and we stopped long enough to open the box and get excited about our first arduino project together.
Our goal is to make a family of furry light-up costomes whose lights/colors interact with one another. With effort we should be able to finish them by Halloween. On Tuesday I ordered some light-up fur from ElectricStyles. The goal is to deconstruct it and figure out what other materials we need and have them by the end of August. Experiment in August with FLORA, build in September, troubleshoot in October. More details when I get an arduino workstation set up and Ellison gets a sewing workstation going
