Well you are going to see how I am not a videographer, I am still learning how to hold the phone.
I didn't want to edit the video because i want you to see that even when you make mistakes you can have fun.
I also want people to know that it's ok to make mistakes. I have only been at this tech stuff for a short time, but I love it!
Moving right along, you will hear in the video that we were not getting a good connection on the GPS and other components.
It is really important that if you use conductive thread that you sew it tout around the pads of your electronics or you won't
be able to get a good connection. It's like having a lamp plugged into an outlet, but the extension cord is not plugged in all the way,
your light may flicker when you move that cord however, once you push that cord into the wall socket , your light is now getting
the right about of current and you have a steady light. Conductive thread is like that. Make pretend its a wire and if you don't hook up
the wire correctly, you won't have a good connection.
I hope that what you learn from my project is that it's all about having fun, while learning something new.
Don't try and make it complicated have fun with it.
You will see from the video that the Neo Pixels are very bright and as much as i would have liked things to look better,
sometimes it's just out of our control. The software on the computer wasn't easy to record, so next week Kyle will do a writeup to explain
it in detail. We really want someone who has never done any electronics no matter what their age, will learn something from our project.
Enjoy all the pics of our fun time learning.
