Gemma-Splashwear 4 doggy & me. Finished 1of 5 circuits and how neat they turned out!

Hello everyone! Today I want to share one of my five circuits.  Below is a picture of my Flora and compass/accelerometer. I want all of my circuits to show through my ponchos so,  I need my wires to look nice. In order to get everything to look nice,  I measured and auditioned all of my wires and once they alined next to the Flora the way I wanted, I proceeded to soldered all of the wires first to the compass/accelerometer and then to the Flora. I used 26 gauge strained wire.  I tined all of the tips so that they would fit nicely in the tiny holes of the compass/accelerometer. The second picture shows all of the wires in place before I soldered. The third is the finished circuit! YEAH!!

  • I think you did a nice job and well planned. I always struggle with wire choices as each has its benefits and side effects. If this will be on apparel that has to move the stranded is definitely the way to go. A thinner wire might be more flexible but also weaker. I have many times taken the wire from a set of earbuds and used it for applications as it is very tiny and flexible and also designed to be strong. Keep up the good work.
