With hard metals, you need to use a bolt or chain cutter. Your local hardware store usually has one available in their cable department and will probably let you use it. It has that extra umph you need…

Thanks Dab. My husband Sam has some tools and so i just grabbed the first thing i thought would work fine. Oh well trial and error is how i learn. Thanks for the tip.
