Hi! My name is Eric. I am moderately visually impaired and I have a question. I have a friend who is completely blind and has a child who is just starting to run around and tries to get into trouble (Of course she doesn't see it as trouble, she's just having fun)! 
However, sometimes it is difficult to keep track of the child, and know if she's somewhere she shouldn't be. Does anyone have any ideas on what could help her out? I'm thinking of some type of system that would notify her if the child is going somewhere in the house she shouldn't be without supervision. But also will let her find her if she goes somewhere to hide, or just falls asleep on the floor so she doesn't trip over her. Maybe even tell her the child's location in the house. Suggestions on existing products, or parts that could be used to make the product are welcome. This will be an indoor application, so GPS is probably out.
