I might try to use the sandboxed forum section as a place to put notes that I don't think will make it into one of the five blogs.
Shortly after putting the birdhouse up in the maple tree in my front yard, I noticed a temperature spiked on the Layer-N dashboard:

When I first saw this, I wondered if I was seeing a bird taking refuge in the birdhouse on a cold night
. I find it interesting there is an omission of temperature readings between 0 and -1 degC...
Side note, saving graphs in layer-n cloud is very easy:
So is exporting csv data:
After looking at the data in detail it would appear there is a 6.5 degC offset for temperature readings between 0 degC and -1 degC.
Regardless an interesting observation.
