Hi everyone. In this blog, I will summarize my participation On The Line Design Challenge. Due to some personal free time constraints, I did not spend as much time as I want at beginning. For this reason, I restricted my experiments to most interesting (to me) parts of the kit: Omega’s humidity and temperature sensor, and thermocouple.
In first forum post, I shown the sensors and kit with brief introduction to my original plans.

In next part, I shown how to prepare Omega’s humidity and temperature HX94C sensor connector and cable for being able to use it on breadboard.

In third part, I explained how sensor produce output, and show how to measure it and how to convert values back to real values

In fourth part, I did the same with digital processing using Arduino Uno Q.

And finally, in fifth forum post, I played with thermocouple instead and shown how to use it, explained how it works and explained my experiment with failed because of bad ADC.

For me it was nice time spent with industrial sensors. Since my free time was very limited, I had no change to play with CAN shield. I want to play with it in next weeks after On The Line challenge conclude. Good look everyone who participated in this challenge. Because of the same time constraints, I have read only few other forum posts as far, but I already seen realy nice usages of the kit.
