Which version of Vitis are you using? Could it be that you were not using the same version of Vitis as the one that was intended for that BSP?

This looks like a bad VITIS installation. If nothing else works, I would suggest doing a fresh reinstall of VITIS.

standalone 7.5 refers to the BSP Standalone OS Library version.

Version 7.5 is for version 2021.1

Did this lab involve creating a new project from scratch or opening an existing project?

If it's the former, then my thinking is that Standalone OS should come packaged in the installation.

If it's the latter (opening an existing project then it could be an out-dated reference or something like that).

Anyway, just some guesses...I'm no expert by any means. I would listen to javagoza more than myself!

You can once open the built project from the solutions folder and check if the tool installation is proper and project platform dependencies are linked.
