I seriously think this is the longest I have spent thinking about a project without actually turning a screw or working with software. This week the wife wanted to go to Hobby Lobby and that turned out to be a great time spent bouncing design ideas for the window frame. They have some great mirrors and the frames have the old country home look. It would be easy enough to remove the mirror and use that but somehow that feels like taking a big shortcut.
I have been looking at some PI applications and came across a product called Balena Dash. It allows live streaming of webcams, photo streaming and might be a good base for my project. I will definitely be either working with it or using it to inspire my own software.
I am planning on building the prototype frame over the next week and should have a picture to post of what I envision the final product to look like.
