Hello Dale, I think that 15 minutes is already a good test. If nothing has broken, there are boog possibilities that it will rung for a very long period without problems. Enrico

Dalem very great progress! I like the sound of this motor when runs; you saved the memory of the sewing machine sound. It remembers ancient moments when I was a kid and this sound was frequently present in the homes of my school friends when the sewing machines during the 70s were always present in their homes; an effect on my memories like the Magdalena for Proust image

By a technical point of vies, did you tried to run the motors as we can see in the video for a long time? Just to be sure that all the parts until this moment are reliable for the normal use? Sometimes, it is better to put a real full-stop to a certain point of a project before going ahead to avoid that issues will occur at a more advanced state of the development.

    Hi Enrico

I did run the globe for 15 minutes non-stop at high speed. The only issue I found was a slight vibration. The cause is the globe ring isn't 100% balanced yet (which I knew before). I even ran the globe without the top bearing support and it ran fine, I wouldn't trust it for any long term running.

The sewing machine sound brought back great memories of my mom always sewing as well.
