Processing Intro to Computer Vision

I started testing my own images and thought the results were cool. I'm next going to experiment with the camera and try Face Recognition (I will be using my daughter) , Object Tracking (probably the crows outside) and other examples.

Computer vision is a scientific field that allows computers to have a high level of  understanding from images or videos. The goal is to automate tasks that the human visual system can do.

ColorChannels

Separate a color image into red, green, blue or hue, saturation, and value channels in order to work with the channels individually. This is Bubbles the cat.

MorphologyOperations

Open and close an image, or do more complicated morphological transformations. This is Mac the dog.

DilationAndErosion

Thin (erode) and expand (dilate) an image in order to close holes. These are known as "morphological" operations. Boy this really eradicated Jim the Cat.

It is using the MASK R-CNN with the COCO dataset to identify parked cars in the street and notifying people when parking spaces become available.
