I am pretty much excited after knowing that I was selected for the finals.
I thank element14 for selecting my application for the finals.
For the project as I stated in my application I decided to work for designing a Karaoke Machine which uses the XMBC kit. As we know XMBC in Raspberry Pi supports high quality media content and it is an easy task to use this as an a media player for media songs.
Another thing which we need is few more software like I select Audacity for removing the vocals from the sound tracks. All that we know that karaoke player plays only background music and guide singer by showing the lyrics on the screen. Also I assure that I may add more features to my project which utilizes Wi-Pi and Pi-Face digital to make this device more handy and cool.
My project is simple one but I do have few more idea to add more features to it. So for now I will add a little suspense to it that I will post it in my future post.
I have only these things for now. But I will post more data and detail in my future post once I received the kit.
I am waiting for Raspberry Pi kit and accessories. Hope it will be delivered soon so that I start work on it and tell about my experience and project.
