I dreamt of using Windows 10 on the Raspberry Pi 2 for my project. There is more to go for this but the possibilities are amazing. Microsoft announced the Windows Core yesterday and have made available a preview download of the core. I was able to get it to boot the RPi 2, write some code on Visual Studio and debug them on the board. The core has still a way to go for completion, but the version they have out is pretty good.
Here is an image showing the default app. The core does not have the Windows Experience, the application is responsible for the UI. The default app has a few preferences and shows the IP address
Here is a second Image running my test application.
I will attempting GPIO next. Stay tuned.
