QuadCOP:  Bad news ,flight controller dead

Long story short.  My flight controller was acting up and it finally burned out.   It was acting flakey so I took everything apart and had intermittent success.  The I plugged something in wrong and now its done.

 

It could read read channels 3 and 4 off the ChipKit Pi, but not 1 and 2.  I confirmed CKP is putting out the PWM needed with my oscilloscope and I tested it on a servo.  So the flight controller must of took at hit at one time.

I finally go the CKP working perfectly!

I am going to order anther one and it will be here next week  image  So I am going to keep posting my stuff but there can be no test flight until next week!

 

I pout over 90 hours into my project the last 2 weeks to be stopped by this!

 

Hey Element 14, how about another month extension?  Who else needs one, raise your hand!  image  I know I know I am pushing it.

 

The results of my testing I was doing.  Time to put it all back together for final presentation.

    My worst critic has permanent residence in my own head.  My last project I got sloppy on the last board. I had it all installed before I realized that I must have fallen asleep part way through the assembly and screwed everything up. I had to redo it with no one to blame except myself. Progress only comes with pain and blue smoke.
