Nothing of real importance here.  Most of what I am doing is c++ coding behind the scenes for navigation of the flight system.  This is not going to be a real informative post but just something to keep me visible.

How about some pictures?  I was walking around with this in the neighborhood, I bet I looked geeky!  I am recording coordinates for testing.  However I need to get mems sensor board we have got in the kit working, so I can use the magnetic compass.

First, a foam "Egg" I am going to use as a gps "radar".

I cut it in half, then used a blow torch to shrink the inside to make I hollow, that's why it looks like a toasted marshmallow.

The whole "contraption".  Powered by a 2S lipo and a 5V regulator.

An OLED that connects via I2C.  I have it for now to see what is going on while walking around.  I'll explain this later after all this is installed neatly on the QuadCOP.

The Radar, needs hot glue to fill the gaps, and some paint!
