I must withdraw from this challenge

Very sorry to hear this. I always enjoy your projects. I am sure significant effort has already been expended planning the project.

I have the programming almost complete and the cart is built. I had the motors for the wheels to get as well as a few other things.

dwinhold   I applaud you, sir, for doing the honorable thing - letting Phil know.  I am also sorry that you didn't receive the kit in time to share your project.  Respect. 

I think I might be withdrawing too dwinhold , if I don't hear back from e14phil  in a couple of days. It's sad to see there has been no response to our queries for more than a month after challengers announcement. Even the challengers announcement was delayed and dates extended accordingly.

This would be affecting my future plans. So, will wait to see how dates are extended and will decide accordingly.

Thank you so much for reaching out, we entirely understand. They kit was shipped so if it arrives, feel free to put it to good use or share it with others.  
The timelines on this challenge have been extended previously due to shipping issues and its only natural that not everyone is free when everything did arrive. 

We will certainly consider you for future challenges, and appreciate all your contributions!

This reminds me of the Upcycle IoT Design Challenge where my kit arrived with just a few days left to the challenge deadline. I had done so much work, I published anyway, but was not able to do as much as I had planned with the kit, which essentially prevented my entry from being a contender. I did finish by publishing the requisite number of blogs, but actually never received the finisher prize.

In short, I haven't received the kit and hence didn't start with the project I proposed. So kindly request you to reset the timelines to start the challenge from the day I receive the kit (I think nobody has received it).
