Good catch Laurynas, you were paying attention to the important details image

For those of you who missed the live webinar, you can catch a recorded video of John Weil's presentation online: PSoC 4 Smarter Life Webinar Video

The presentation includes good information on PSoC 4, and also a few seed ideas of the the types of systems you could create for this desgin challenge.

We've already started receiving some very interesting ideas from registrants. There's till 10 more days for you to enroll and submit your design ideas (enrollment closes October 14th).

    btw,

why no TSSOP package? TSSOP8 would be a great multipurpose i2c slave.

i love those packages since they are small like QFN but unlike QFN can be soldered by hand for prototyping image

    Laurynas,

No TSSOP parts, but we do have SSOP parts on the PSoC 4 (also QFN and TQFP).

We're also looking into making an even smaller development kit, so you might not need to hand solder for your prototypes!

smaller dev kit sounds good. I guess it will be made with 40xx series in mind?

if it's not too late please make jumpers on programming traces going out of PSoC5 - this is a major drawback compared to some other successfull kits.

Using these jumpers we can measure exact current consumption and use them to program external chips as an amateur's programmer.
