sorry it has been so long updating, I have been working on getting a single strap that would measure temperature, heart rate, and breathing rate. I have found that getting all 3 does not seem possible with my current configuration so I have resolved to get one done at a time so that I can complete the challenge on time. I have the arduino reading the heart rate strap(I used an off the shelf strap from a heart rate monitor) and transmitting the data to the beaglebone black using xbee so that I can get a mesh network setup. My next task is to get another arduino to seen junk data to simulate more then one user on the network to see if I can overload the xbee network to make sure it will work for a full team. I will hopefully have pictures in my next post, I wanted to have some today but the ballast in the fluorescent light above my desk exploded last night almost starting a fire. It smells way to bad to be in that room currently and is kinda dark until I replace the light with led.
