I hear you on this one, I've been dragging a bit as well due to some setbacks and a slow start but I hope to finish my project to a level where I can reasonably show what I am trying accomplish even if it takes me past the May 8 deadline. Just keep on trucking and hopefully the learning gained from this challenge will be well worth the effort.
I totally hear what you are saying, in some ways I feel this would have been more interesting if done as a team competition instead of individuals. It would have allowed for more complex projects group motivation and added a new angle to challenges that would have made it a bit more interesting and fun, at least thats my two cents.
