"Bare Metal"
I've laid out and milled out an interface between the appliance and the SWiFT.
It's a through hole component design using a single sided PCB.
Here's a picture of the copper side.
Here's the component side populated all ready waiting for a Texas Instruments ULN2803A Darlington Transistor Array.
The board has been designed to work with or with out the ULN2803 but provision for transient clamping diodes has been provided if choose not to use one.
I've used a ULN2803 as another measure not to blow up my Fraunchpad.
The bottom left hand corner can cater for a linear voltage regulator such as the ubiquitous TI uA7805 and accompanying support components.
I've provided 8 possible relay channels but have only used 6 leaving two spare.
