I spy with my digital eye!
I recently discovered a camera module that can capture colour video and pictures and transmit them using a RS232 Interface.
I don't know much about these because the its main IC has a big "Warranty - Void if removed sticker".
I assume its a pretty specialised and powerful beastie.
The 8 pin IC in the top left hand corner is just a serial memory device.
All I have is a basic manual specifying its command set and a few simple interface details.
This module takes a video feed from a video sensor, digitise it and transmit it in a variety of digital formats.
It just looks like any other camera module.
The connections are
TX (TTL level)
RX (TTL level)
GND
3.3 Volts
Just hook up and communicate with. That's it.
