June 4th : Joining the Dots
So I have been able to spend some time putting all of the bits and pieces together and I now have something that resembles the idea I had a couple of months back. It is very much still in the prototype/test stage but it works almost as I expected it would. Actually considering all of the I2C, UART and WIFI bouncing around in there I am surprised it works at all..
First of all here is a picture of the system as it sits on my desk at the moment, and a close up of my clever container sitting on the smart shelf. The third picture is the GUI I have written using the QT creator, the GUI is measuring the level of the bread on the scales and the coffee in the clever container (or sugar as it was cheaper).
