Hi guys,

We are really excited about the final phase of the Wireless Power Challenge now.

If you are in need of additional receiver or transmitter coils, please don't hesitate to send Christian or me a quick note. We can fedex them to you (independent of the location) free of charge. So no need to use up the Farnell Budget for the coils.

Please see here the available coils:

Live and Charge Wireless!!! :-)

regards

Lars

Your package arrived safely and very well packaged.

I'll set about changing the coils after I do some measurements to establish the baseline.

Unfortunately this won't be for a week or two now, as the other jobs have been delayed as far as I can.

    Thnaks again

    Mark

    Hi Mark,

yeah this is exactly what I meant.

TIs reference design was finished a while ago and back then 760308201 was the only receiver on the market.

When we worked with TI on the Kit and the eval boards they changed it to the new version 760308103202.

I am quite sure that the receiver coil of your off-the-shelf receiver circuit is compatible to ours.

    regards

    Lars

    Lars

    Thanks.

    According to this link

    http://www.we-online.de/web/en/electronic_components/produkte_pb/demoboards/wireless_power/wireless_power_we.php?formblock=1138945#1138945

    it said that they used 760308103202 which is L = 12uH and Q = 33.

the picture Inderpreet took showed the 201 used.

    Cheers

    Mark

    Hi Hendrik,

    thanks a lot.

You are correct. The original reference design suggests the 760308201. Unfortunately such reference designs never get updated with new product releases.

760308201 was basically the first WPC receiver on the market. It is a quit large and rugged receiver.

For the same reference design you can use also our newer coils like

    760308103202

    760308103203

    760308103204

Those are much smaller, less in weight and thinner.

    Lars

The user manual for the TI receiver board lists three coils that can be used with it (in the BOM). The part number for the one from Würth is 760308201.
