    Very interesting projects! Lamps are a great idea - I bet they will look awesome lit up - I hope you reveal them in a future blog or video.

    How did you cut the bottle? The reason I ask, is I have some glass lamps (faulty) that I took from a lamp store for free - I was planning to somehow break open the base for making my own lamps, but maybe a cut would be a better idea!

    So you will find tons of videos assuring clean breaks, I have tried all of them, but it takes a lot of practice and pateince, and I am still not there yet. But this cut bottle is from one of my initial attempts, it didn't come out great, but i used oil paint and insulating tape to smoothen it out. Let me know if you would like me to link a couple of bottle cutting videos here.
