Your project:

Under this lockdown i hope everyone is trapped in there home but due to the opportunity by element 14 i have got a great chance to show my project as a episode . It is first time making this project and recording such a long video so please pardon me if something is done wrong.

MULTIPURPOSE AGROBOT

Problem Statement / Purpose of Project

DESIGN COST EFFECTIVE BUSINESS SOLUTION WITH GOOD USE OF TECHNOLOGY AND MECHANISATION FOR SUSTAINABLE AND COOPERATIVE AGRICULTURE, FARMING.

Full Automatic MULTIPURPOSE AGROBOT using Internet of Things(IOT)

 The work is done by robot without any man power.

 Automation is used in all fields eg. automobiles , manufacturing fields.

 Automation is a illumination of human afford from the working field.

 The idea of applying robotic technology in agriculture is very new, the opportunities for robot enhanced productivity immense.

 The robots performing agriculture operations such as ploughing , seed sowing and water spraying.

 Allowing farmers to reduce the environmental impact, increase precision and efficiency, and manage individual plants in novel ways.

PRINCIPLE AND FEATURES OF AGROBOT

The main impact for our project has been to develop a solar operated digging

machine, which is solar powered. In this machine, we used a solar panel to

capture and convert solar energy into electrical energy which is used to charge a

5v battery. Which gives the necessary power to a DC motor. With the help of

Bluetooth modules, we connect all the commands through our remote. This

power is transmitted to the rear wheel through gears. In this project it makes the

electric and mechanical systems share their power in efficient way. It reduces the

running cost of digging machine.

Features

 Automatic grass cutter

 Automatic seedling Sprinkling

 Fertilizer Sprinkling

 Irrigation &

 Hydraulic cultivator

 Solar power operated

 Automated with remote

LIST OF EQUIPMENTS USED FOR AUTOMATION

Arduino Uno, MotorDrivers L298, DC MOTOR, 2-Bluetooth Module SC05, Battery(12volts), LED & Buzzer, Resistor(1kiloohm), Transmitter remote with switches, Solar Panel, 8 switches

WORKING OF MULTIPURPOSE AGROBOT

• The seeds and spraying the water with least changes in accessories with minimum

cost. This whole system of robot works with battery and the solar power.

• The basic frame is made for the robot with 4 wheels connected and the rear wheels are

connected with motor.

• At one end of the frame, cultivator is fitted which is also driven by DC motor and

design is made to dig the soil.

• Funnel is used to store the seeds and fertilizers, it flows through the funnel by drilled

hole on the shaft/anchor to the digged soil. On the end sprayer is fitted to spray water.

In front blades are set to cut the crops or grass.

• Solar is placed on the top of the robot and is connected to a battery for charging the

battery.

• Firstly, we can send data through our own remote that is developed by me, with the

help of Bluetooth connectivity.

• Bluetooth module receives the data according to our program that is in Arduino UNO.

Quality Assurance and Quality Control

• For quality control I have used solar power for the charging of the batteries it also

decreases the initial cost.

• For quality control purpose I have tested this agrobot in uneven field as it has to work

in farm areas.

ADVANTAGES

 Machine is small and can be carried anywhere

 It will cut the plants from roots

 Maintenance cost is less

 It could cut the tons of grains in a day

 It reduces the manpower

It may become a great success if this project can be implemented throughout our country.

Nice mix of mechanical and electrical design! I have to agree with Dave on the "powerpointy" thought. Diagrams and documentation are great and necessary, but seeing more of you interacting with the robot…

Nice "Proof of Concept (POC) Robot" combining many functions to one robot. A little scary to see unshielded cutters, but consistent with POC. Very creative engineering. Good job.

It did Today A bit of feedback: it feels very "powerpointy", would have loved some more videos of it moving around and you showing / pointing at the parts you are talking about in the first bit. The block…

Thankyou so much sir for your feedbacks . It was just a mini project and when this project comes to a industrial level all the functions will be taken care of carefully and i used slides for just a project overview.

I will try to reduce my slideshow part in other videos .

    Thankyou so much sir .

I saw a pink box with scary cutters in the back/front? The video was very much like a PowerPoint slide show. I think the scale will be a major problem, as farms are measured in acres. I don't think PV will scale either. The bigger this gets the bigger the motors, and they will not run on PV. also you don't consider the weight of the seeds, fertilizer, or water. Remember water is 1L = 1Kg and you will need a lot of water.

    Good idea, needs work.
