Where I went to school: I attended Undergraduate school at the University of Northern Colorado and I got my Masters in Fine Arts at Indiana University, Bloomington.

Current Job: I am a Costume Technologist that is currently unemployed due to COVID-19.

About My Project:

My project has been a dream of mine to make for a long time. I have always love to bike and have spent many years where it is my main mode of transportation. I wanted to always make sure that I was visible to cars that share the road with me. Being able to warn them better that I am slowing or turning would help me feel safer. I have explored the world of wearable electronics and loved what I have found. I am excited to keep dreaming, learning and creating wearable electronics.

Fun build! I once built a tail light/blinker setup for my electric scooter, shortly after I was working with an engineer who designed high end brake lights for motorcycles and he told me that their high end brake lights would use an accelerometer to detect the deceleration and activate the brake light. I did not implement that into mine, but I thought it was a clever idea and would pass it on.

Nice mix of disciplines.
