I'm not sure if something like this has been suggested before, but I'd be interested in seeing a laptop that would let you swap out all the different stick computers that are out now. I'm talking about computers like the Intel Compute Stick and the Chromebit, and maybe it could be used with media sticks like the Roku too. Oh, and I guess it would make sense to work with a Raspberry Pi too. These sticks are pretty tiny so you could fill out the rest of the case with batteries and cables, and just have a Bluetooth keyboard and trackpad (on Amazon I found a 1byone Wireless Bluetooth Keyboard & Touchpad that would probably work). One advantage of a laptop like this would be easy upgrade process... say a year from now if Intel comes out with a better stick computer you could just swap out the old one, and save the display, peripherals, external hard drive, etc.
I know you all could easily do one of your 3d print jobs to make the case, but I think re-purposing an old laptop would also be interesting (and help the environment or something?). Love the show and thanks!
