Hi Ben,
Here's an idea for a nostalgic radio which plays internet radio stations.
My parents are getting close to 80 now and have difficulty using modern devices. Specificly buttons with more than one function. Here in NL more and more radiostations are moving out of FM to dab+ and internet so they need a new radio. I was thinking of a radio which looks old (brings back memories) with a Rasberry Pi inside. At the front buttons which select a station. One button per station so it's easy to use. One button to turn it on and a volume knob. And it has to go LOUD! And perhaps a LCD-screen which gives information like what radiostation is on. Or an error message if something doesn't work and they need to call me for help. Internet radio stations seem to change url's from time to time so that is something that needs some thinking. Therefore dab+ sounds like a good alternative. Those USB-sticks are very cheap but I'm not sure if you can interface that easily with hardware buttons.
