Multi Print 3d Printer

Multi Print 3d Printer you say? No - not like the printer that printed 2 at once.

 

I manufacture and sell a 3D Printed product (over 800 sold in the last 3 months!) and I recently had to upgrade from 1 printer to 3. However I still find that prints finish, and I have downtime until I remove my print, and start my next print. (this ranges from minutes to hours if I'm sleeping)

 

What if there were a hamster wheel "print bed" below a printer, that cycled out after each print. You could then load X amount of prints (x being however many beds you have) then you could print, the bed would change, print, the bed would change, etc etc.

 

Your 3d Print queue would work for you! Your productivity would skyrocket!

 

I WOULD LOVE TO SEE THIS BUILT! I'd also love it for free! image But more than anything I'd love to see it a part of the Ben Heck show!

    Interesting, however my product is NinjaFlex based? I'm not so sure that'd roll right off? I was thinking like Ferris Wheel, where the actual bed changes.

     

    I had no idea this was a thing! Awesome!

    To make and implement something like that sounds complex and expensive. Multiple 3D printers isn't an option? What printer do you have (want to modify) now?

     

    On a side note. Leaving a 3D printer alone, especially at night while you are sleeping, isn't recommended. After reading about some of the problems people have had, I don't leave my printer alone printing any longer than I'd leave a baby alone.
