PS4 Control for Cerebral Palsy/Severe Disabled

hey ben, i saw your ps4 control for 1 hand. well i play and do about everything with my chin and mouth, my hands arent able to do much of anything. what i had in mind is you know how a computer has sticky keys (shift, alt, ctrl). well i was thinking is it posible to incorperate that into a ps4 conroler, because about all games on ps4 you have to hold 1 button and push another for example aim and shoot. so i was wondering if its possible to build a ps4 control pad were all the buttons are on a pad like a arcade control, and if i held a button for a second it stay or a switch to flip if i wanted it held or not. anyway i pray you can help figure something out to help me, ive been dieing to play assasins creed the new 1.

  • We get a lot of people requesting mods for PS4 controllers, so I keep bugging Ben about it. He usually mods XBox controllers because PS4 controllers are extremely difficult to solder to and Sony has changed the design of the inside of the controller multiple times. So if he buys one, he doesn't know which layout it is.

    Ben and Felix have done custom controller mods in the past. You can find out more about that here, http://www.benheck.com/controllers/. He may not be able to help you with a PS4 controller, but might be able to modify an XBOne controller or even make a PC controller to fit your needs. On that website is an email address you can use to get ahold of Ben and Felix to ask them about making you a custom controller.

     

    Other than that, can you tell me more about what the controller layout would need to be for you to be able to use it? Would you need a panel of long or bigger buttons so you could more easily hit them with your chin? Maybe a joystick mod that makes it easier/more comfortable to hold with your mouth?
