Retool a 80's robot for autonomy

Take an robot from the 80's, such as a Hero or Omnibot. Remove the radio control and out dated electronics. Then rebuild better, stronger, smarter!. I have a Hero 1 I could donate to the show as a way of saying thank you for all your doing!

Well, like I said I have a Heath Kit Hero 1 If you want to use it. Though really any robot would be cool Maxx Steel, Omnibot, Robbie Sr., Hero 2000 or Omnibot 2000(my pick). I also have a V8600A voice…

Oooooo, yeah that's a good one. I'll add your idea to the list and see what the guys think. That would probably have to be a multi-part episode, so we'd have to see where it could fit on the schedule.

I also have a V8600A voice synthesizer that takes ascii text and converts it to speech. Just an idea, but the robots function could be to tell jokes. Thats right an autonomous robot comedian that rolls around on the stage telling jokes! I think it fits the senibillities of the show. I introduce you to Commodous, the first standup comic robot! With sensors to keep it up on stage, looking at the audience, listen for laughter and more. But thats just my dopey idea...... The way I see it, if you're gonna retrofit an 80's robot, why not do it with some style!
