How about an electronics trainer.

Hi Ben,

When I was a kid in the 70's I had a 150-in-1 electronics kit.  It was a blast.  Recently I purchased one to rekindle my interest.  WOW.  Was it poorly built, and lacking in any kind of useful, and informative experiments.

I would love to see you design an electronics trainer, possible implementing the Raspberry Pi, so it can include coding instruction as well.

Maybe it would include a breadboard section,  a GPIO header for the Pi  and  instead of having passive components mounted, it could include some sensors, or other input/output devices to be wired into the Pi and breadboard.

If you have time, maybe one or two beginner experiments pre written and stored on the Pi SD card to kick things off?

Anyway, I just found your show and love every episode.

Thanks for your time and talents.

Sincerely,

Ben (yes I am a Ben as well)

    Shabaz,

I understand there are simple ways to accomplish this and your idea is a sound one.  I was curious what Ben Hecks take on an electronics trainer would be. He builds a lot of fun and interesting devices on his show.

    Thank you
