Great idea, I would seem to be possible to extend the idea to dispensing conductive ink or drawing traces with a conductive ink pen and printing complete circuits.

Sean this idea is really great yet simple! This demonstrates that a 3D printer (or to be precise a three axis moving architecture) based on positive 3D motion (against the inverse approach of the traditional 3-axis CAD motion mechanism) opens to a lot of technology hackings.
