I am very interested in building a Sharp X68000 from scratch using after-market parts, if need be, as the systems cost WAY TOO MUCH as an assembled unit! Is this POSSIBLE for a hobbyist/learner? Maybe we could add some s-video out or hdmi capabilities? Even better, would be building a handheld-portable version (disk-drives could allow extra grip maybe? expansion port for 3.5 flops?). I know it is a lot to ask, but can it be done?! 
Will you use your awesomeness to do it? 
If it isn't accomplishable, then what are the issues that must be overcome? I am a very low skilled, beginner to this kind of project, but I love the show, and hope that you can explain the basics to me! Thank you for reading this post, I hope we can do something awesome with it!
