Hey!
I work in a large office complex, and often when I would get off work, several of my office mates would be getting off work at the same time. Working in a large office complex of course means that there is a large parking lot. So often times, I wouldn't remember exactly where I parked. Luckily, when remotely unlocking my car, my car goes beep, and I can follow the beep to where I parked. Unluckily, about 90 of my coworkers' cars also go beep. Not only does this render the "follow the beep" method of car location useless, it is simply uncool.
I always thought it would be hecta-cool to be able to simply slip a memory card in somewhere under the hood with a wav or mp3 file stored on it, much like a ringtone on a phone. Then when you hit the button, perhaps the strum of a guitar, or the sound of a phaser could alert you to where your car is. This "car-tune" could be customized with any sound clip, and possibly play out of a small speaker hidden in the grill somewhere.
What do you think?
