Hi im chris, i live in the uk and have done several mods on my consoles xbox,ps3 ouya ive also built my own pc but times are hard now and had to sell them , slowly getting things back again but standard gear at the minute,im a big ben heck fan ,never stopped hearing that name on llamma's modding forums until a few months ago i thought he was just a well known modder for his laptops but definatly inspiring to watch
So here's my idea, something like the ruggedized ps3 but bigger, has a removeable solar charger and regulator in it so can be moved for maximum solar power , a good size SLA battery 20ah or so
5v step down into standby power for ps3 as well as a relay to switch 12v for power on
And obviously a TV built in
Now for the communication side of it - cb radio and built in extendable antenna- or something similar , something that can boil water so its safe... Hang on wouldn't this make a cool camping accessory although you do go to enjoy the outdoors this would be nice for a rainy day
